Hello everyone, as some of you might have guessed this semester Live Free will not be an active student organization. Since we currently do not have any active students running the org, we will technically be considered a frozen student org until we have students who are able to get the org up and running again.
However, we are excited to share that the University now has its own recovery community that is offering peer-to-peer recovery support! UW-Madison has launched their own collegiate recovery program, Badger Recovery, this Fall and they host weekly All-Recovery Meetings every Monday from 7-8pm on Zoom. Each week they provide a link on their social media page or you can visit their website, www.uhs.wisc.edu/recovery. Similar to Live Free, Badger Recovery is open to all students and they aim to provide a safe space to students in recovery as well as recovery allies. For those of you who are looking for a recovery community or a peer led meeting on campus, be sure to check out Badger Recovery. Be sure to Like their page and get involved! https://www.facebook.com/BadgerRecovery
Here is the Zoom link to join tonight's All Recovery Meeting at 7pm: https://uwmadison.zoom.us/j/98647355037
For any immediate questions about the program you can message the page or send out an email to [email protected].
