Black History Month was amazing as children used inspiration from Chicago artist Reggie Laurent to create bold, expressive collages featuring notable Black figures in history. They enjoyed spending time throughout the month learning about many of the people in their art projects and they did such a great job!

Small hands change the world, especially those of our After School children. They worked together to create arts projects while learning about Martin Luther King Jr.'s impact during the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. We hope they continue spreading their passion for teamwork and togetherness and that everyone can reflect on the impact of Dr. King today.

High school students and adults ➡️ Elver Park Neighborhood Center is hosting open gym Fridays 6:30-9 p.m. with 🏀 basketball. There will be snacks and refreshments.
