We are just ONE WEEK AWAY from the Back2School Block Party! This family-friendly event is completely free with free food and activities for all ages, so mark your calendars for Thursday, August 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Center. PLUS, there will be 600 backpacks given away to elementary, middle, and high school students so they can start the school year on the right foot.

Campers had some special visitors this week! The City of Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway, City of Madison, Wisconsin Government officials, and members of Madison Schools - MMSD stopped by to see the space and take in all the fun and educational activities campers have been doing this summer.

Black History Month was amazing as children used inspiration from Chicago artist Reggie Laurent to create bold, expressive collages featuring notable Black figures in history. They enjoyed spending time throughout the month learning about many of the people in their art projects and they did such a great job!
