Our commitment to uplifting girls living in rural areas remains strong. Today, girls who participate in our rural grassroots hubs travelled to Murehwa where they will participate in the Rozaria Memorial Trust 20th Anniversary Celebrations. The celebrations include a marathon and a girls' soccer tournament. We are so excited to partner with like-minded organizations to give the girls opportunities to shine. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the celebrations!

And who better to mark 6 days to go than Felistas “Figo” Muzongondi, who proudly donned the *number 6 jersey for Zimbabwe* , a number synonymous with midfield greats such as Xavi, Andrés Iniesta for Spain, and Eduardo Camavinga.

From rural Gutu to the Summer Olympics in Rio 2016, representing the Mighty Warriors on the world stage, Felistas' journey is a powerful reminder that rural beginnings do not limit big dreams.

As girls from our own rural communities prepare to take the field in Magaya Village, her story reminds us of the possibilities that can begin on a rural football pitch.

The next "Figo" could be among them. 💜⚽

Yolanda is an MTC Sirens product! She is now playing for Maningi Queens, she was our captain before and now a captain at Maningi where she is still putting her all.

This is clear testimony of giving opportunities to girls in rural communities. I’m so proud of Yolanda. We have many many girls with the same talents. Go MTC Sirens!
