Volunteers Needed to Help with Programs:

Many thanks to Nadine Walsten, who has been a great help on our Programs Committee. She needs to step away from this position due to health concerns, though she plans to keep attending meetings, as she has for many years. If you see her, please thank her for all she has done for our guild chapter.

We are looking for volunteers (2 or 3) for Programs, which is a very fun position and enables you to plan presenters and themes for our meetings, including workshops and field trips. Contact MASG's president Julie if you would like to learn more.

*2025* McFarland Caring Quilts Exhibition Opening Reception
November 15-31
E.D. Locke Public Library, 5910 Milwaukee St, McFarland

Join us for the 2nd annual exhibition of the Caring Quilts Community Craft Project. Volunteers have created and donated hundreds of quilt blocks which have been sewn into beautiful quilts for the community to admire and enjoy. Quilts will be on display from November 15th to December 31st at the E.D. Locke Library and then they will be distributed to older adults in the community who would benefit from some extra comfort and warmth.

Enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries while viewing the quilts on display. Fabulous handcrafted door prizes for lucky winners!

Do you know an older adult in the community who could benefit from some warmth and comfort? Our completed quilts from the 2025 Caring Quilts Project will be distributed starting in January 2026 to older adults in the community. Submit a nomination for a Caring Quilt recipient at https://bit.ly/47AWkfC

Want to contribute to the McFarland Caring Quilts project, but fabrics aren’t your forte? Share a quilting story with us instead at https://bit.ly/3XRM6Eq

The McFarland Caring Quilts Project has been a way for the community to come together, share their skills, and make something to give back to its members. As the project has continued, people have shared memories they have involving quilts: helping their grandmother sew quilt squares together, makin...
