Day 2 of Madison 4-H Science Camp was so much fun! We made solar oven s’mores, bouncy balls, fireworks in a cup, we “saved Fred”, had some awesome demonstrations by Madison County Fire Rescue and ended the day with ice cream in a bag. Special shout out to Cucinella’s, Hungry Howeys, and Dominoes for providing the pizza boxes for the solar ovens. And a huge thank you to Madison County Fire Rescue for teaching us about fire science!!

We had an incredible first day at Madison 4-H Science camp! We learned about the importance of decomposers, jumping spiders, geckos, snakes, tortoises and water striders. We ended the day decorating bird houses, making wormeries, and of course- eating dirt cups. And had SO MUCH FUN!

Wonderful 1st day with FWC at our Madison 4-H Hunters Safety Camp. We learned and practiced safe firearm carry positions. We learned lots about laws, responsibility, and ethics and much more. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Don’t forget — this Friday, May 15 at 4:30 PM, we’ll be having our End-of-the-Year Cookout at the Extension Office!
Join us for:
• Hot dogs and hamburgers
• Waterslides and more
• Fun with all clubs!
Be sure to bring:
• A towel
• A change of clothes
