Last week, our team came together to refresh and prepare a suite at Shelter from the Storm Ministries, ensuring a warm and welcoming space for a family in need. From deep cleaning to fresh coats of paint and thoughtful decorating, our volunteers put their hearts into every detail.

This initiative is part of the Adopt-a-Suite program, which provides families experiencing homelessness with a safe place to rebuild and thrive. We’re honored to support this mission and make a tangible impact in our community.

Day 3 in Costa Rica! We finished our construction activities and spent the afternoon with Face of Justice. We got a sneak preview of AHAVA, their soon-to-open coffee shop, and spent time with the girls that will move into the new Hovde House.

Our Hovde team had a great time volunteering with the Clean Lakes Alliance and the Village of McFarland! We collected native seeds, which will be planted to create a natural filter for phosphorus and prevent harmful algae from growing in our lakes.
