Today, we are proud to celebrate Mann Scholar Hezekiah, a graduating senior from Madison West High School, whose high school journey has been defined by leadership, creativity, service, and determination.
Throughout high school, Hezekiah has worked hard to maintain strong grades, while balancing an incredibly active schedule both in and outside the classroom. From competing as a varsity basketball player, to dedicating countless hours to volunteering and community involvement, he has continuously shown what it means to lead with purpose and heart.
A talented performer and active member of Multico, Hezekiah also made his mark in theater, taking on lead roles in productions such as "The Importance of Being Earnest." Whether on the stage, on the court, or in his community, he brings passion, confidence, authenticity, and a bright smile.
Hezekiah has also been a strong leader within Black Student Union (BSU) and several other student organizations, using his voice and leadership to inspire others and create community, including creating school spaces that are more inclusive and supportive. His caring spirit and commitment to uplifting others have made a lasting impact on his school community.
This fall, Hezekiah will attend Edgewood University to study Business Administration. He dreams of launching his own hygiene business and creating a nonprofit focused on youth development, combining entrepreneurship with his passion for helping others succeed.
We are incredibly proud of all that Hezekiah has accomplished and excited to watch him continue to lead, inspire, and create positive change in the world.
