In early March we began construction for our rolling water tank project. This project was proposed and partially funded by the community! These are rainwater fed tanks that are distributed throughout the homes of VHP-Uganda member’s homes. So far, two tanks have been built and we have goals to make 12 more! Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this project a success!

In Lweza, VHP has tested the major water sources used by residents and concluded that a staggering 68% of Lweza lacks access to clean water.

To address this issue, Village Health Project (VHP) is partnering with GlobalGiving for its year-end fundraising campaign in order to raise funds for our Rainwater Tank Microcredit Project and improve outreach opportunities as an organization.

Our project goal: $5000 by December 31st, 2017

We want to take a second to thank everyone who helped make our first annual Golf Fore Clean Water golf outing a huge success! With the help of our sponsors, donors, and golfers we raised over $10,000 which will all go towards clean water initiatives in Lweza, Uganda! We had a blast golfing with everyone and are thrilled about the outcome! Thank you again to everyone that made the event possible.
