September is Su***de Prevention Month—a reminder that prevention begins long before a crisis. At the Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health, we know that nurturing relationships, emotional development, connection and supportive environments in the earliest years help build protective factors that support mental health across the lifespan.

National Breastfeeding Month is a time to celebrate the everyday moments of connection, comfort and care that help babies and caregivers build strong, healthy relationships as they grow together.

Every family deserves compassionate, judgment-free support to make the feeding choices that are right for them, creating a foundation for lifelong health, and social and emotional well-being for babies, young children and their families.
