Had a great time at aopa safety seminar, our general aviation customers were very appreciative of our service and I enjoyed answering their questions and talking with them. Thx to bd cc gl jv and cw for attending with me!

New internet modem installed today, let me know if we still have issues with internet access. Hopefully this will solve our intermittent connection problem. MSN is 100% union membership!!! Save the date: Sept. 27, tuesday evening kickball tournament with our NATCA neighbors MKE, possibly GRB and RFD too, in MKE. I will be going if anyone wants to ride with me. Details to be posted soon on board.

EAA LOA's telcon this morning, clarified a few issues. emails read forwarded as necessary and posted on board. See new fatigue and flight deck training MOU's. Getting organized for internal audit tomorrow. Last weeks meetings with local members of congress went great! WE training last week, expect briefings after OSH, won't be time before then.

Union meeting today, minutes posted on board. New hires seem very inerested in NATCA and hoping we'll be a 100% membership facility soon! Have some legislative functions to attend this week I am very excited about, parades, meeting, stuff like that to help support NATCA goals.

Trying to see if I can get another modem from at&t or if they're going to make us keep rebooting every hour or less. So far I'm on step 3 of their tricky little scheme to never talk with an actual person. They've done a line check, "There appears to be a problem with your connection..." duh I wouldn't be calling otherwise...

Next week atm and I will attend Article 48 Collaberation briefings in Chicago. Any ideas for collaberative efforts that you are interested in seeing implemented would be greatly appreciated.

Also have link to fatigue mitigation presentation that was done at CFS and also presented to us in CMH. Besides nine hours currently being used, 11 other steps that hope to be implemented soon, that were the results of the close to one year study.

Fac Rep meeting in CMH last week very informative. Basic housekeeping briefings on grievance and seniority tracking programs. ULP briefing from national office. Briefings from our national Pres. and VP. Very interesting briefing on negotiating with power point that I have should anyone like to read up on finer points of negotiating!

Next week I will be in Columbus, OH for fac rep meeting and federal labor relations board training. Should be interesting three days, as our vp(lucky;) will be on vacation I will be available by cell phone if anyone needs anything 345-1310. It will be off during meetings but I check for text or messages regularly.

Sent out numerous emails and posted several on board dealing with professionalism and also tie in to new program with Article 52 professional workgroup standards start up. we don't have mids but we still deal with fatigue issues which are actually contradictory to the "suggested" people on shift and position requirements that mgmt just put in r and i last week.
