Insight Wisconsin Insight Wisconsin provides hands-on design experience to UW-Madison students from all majors through diverse real-world, client-based design projects.

Insight Wisconsin seeks to emphasize collaborative problem-solving skills and innovative thinking in a manner that is similar to design thinking strategies in company settings. To accomplish this goal, Insight Wisconsin aims to provide opportunities for members to work in interdisciplinary, high-achieving teams on structured design projects, dreamed up by the students themselves or researcher/comp

any-based clients, and gain valuable professional experience through skill seminars and influential speaker presentations. By implementing a series of deadlines and presentations, teams will take their problem from idea to prototype within a semester or a year. Seminars touching on skills from SolidWorks to design thinking to presentation and pitching will be offered to allow students to acquire skills that they would not learn in a conventional classroom environment; moreover, skills that are fundamental for success in a world revolving around innovation.
