General information

Students for Families and Children serves as resource for undergraduate students to become more involved in the community through volunteer opportunities. Activities focus on meeting the needs of families and children in the Madison area and beyond. Volunteer activities in the past have included helping at food pantries, charity run/walks, Toys for Tots, cooking dinner at the Ronald McDonald house, Habitat for Humanity, Gilda's club, and planning events for children and their families. Additionally, SFC provides students with a link to other undergraduate students, professors, graduate students, alumni and other individuals in related fields. We are associated with the Human Development and Family Studies department in the School of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin.
