Hogs for Heroes Hogs for Heroes is a WI-only nonprofit helping injured Veterans heal by regaining wind therapy.

OUR MISSION
Hogs for Heroes is a non-profit dedicated to healing the mental and physical wounds suffered during active duty by our Wisconsin military veterans through the therapeutic benefits of owning and riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. OUR VISION
We believe the freedom of the road, the collegiality of riders and the pride and peace found in ownership can support the healing process for our returning veterans. Hogs for Heroes will honor deserving Wisconsin military veterans with the gifting of a new Harley Davidson motorcycle. Recognizing one hero at a time, one bike at a time, it is our hope we assist in their journey to return to a healthy, happy and productive civilian life.

BREAKING: with today’s stunning donations from the Tavern League of Wisconsin’s convention…y’all have just sponsored another Bike & Veteran pairing in 2027!

Special shoutouts to Tucked Away for the $6230 raised in their June Poker Run—darn impressive for a town of 150! And to Tom & Joanne Chacko Ries for their personal $1500 donation matching the $1500 The River Pub’s Dog Days event raised for us in August. Ou friends at Mugshotz Sports Bar and Grill shared $2500 from two different meat raffles for us this year—Yowza! And hats off to Manitowoc County Tavern League whose newly established foundation shared their first donation of $1000 with us. Every penny counts—and adding in the donation tank’s fuel and the shirts you all bought up… it is one more bike to change one more life.

So darn humbled by the love from everyone! Thank you for welcoming us in again and for your beautiful support of our Wisconsin effort. ✌️

Kicked off the Tavern League of Wisconsin Fall Convention with smiles, hugs and amazing donations totaling $15,313 today from so many who believe wholeheartedly in our mission!

Special shoutouts to Johnny B's Rolling Smoke who shared $5402 from their September Sunday Funday for us! Our mates at Pirate's Cove passed us $500 of their fundraising bounty, and Connie’s American Legion Bar’s special raffle raised another $740 for our cause. Our friends at Miller's Hillside Pub handed us a check for $3871 from the June Poker Run and Packer seat sales! Yes, they sell their prized seats at the bar for charity! And no strangers to fun and fundraising for us, the crew at Curve In Bar raised $4800 for us just by cruising the high seas!

Such creative efforts, and a lot of hard work, to care for our injured Veterans. Without doubt, your gifts will help change, if not save, another Hero’s life. Thank you, friends for believing in us!
