MADISON NONPROFIT DAY CONFERENCE. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31st AT MONONA TERRANCE.
Heather Ferguson (http://linkedin.com/in/2heatherferguson?utm_campaign=meetedgar&utm_medium=social&utm_source=meetedgar.com) is a multipotentialite who has had a variety of roles in her career: journalist, group fitness instructor, breakfast operations coordinator for the Dane County Farmers’ Market, recruiter, and curricular specialist—to name a few. After working in college orientation for 10 summers – including 5 years working with UW-Madison’s SOAR program – Heather has learned that both life and career are a series of transitions and that empowerment often comes from enjoying education, connecting with the community, and embracing being a perpetual beginner. Today, she helps entrepreneurs and small business owners transition to new stages of their careers as the Program Manager for the Small Business Development Center (https://sbdc.wisc.edu?utm_campaign=meetedgar&utm_medium=social&utm_source=meetedgar.com). There, she curates courses that help small-business owners start, grow, and manage their businesses. Have an area of expertise you’d love to share? Send her a message!
