At last week's CFB banquet, our club recognized Wendy Volkert of Wisconsin Farm Bureau as our "Friend of CFB" award recipient.

Wendy not only helped train our officer team back in August for a year of leadership, but also lead a workshop for our entire membership this spring.

Thank you, Wendy, for all you have done to help our members and our chapter grow!

Two weeks ago, CFB members attended a spring study tour to Wysocki family farms, a roughly 24,000 acre farm in central Wisconsin that specializes in potatoes. 🥔

Members witnessed several steps in the process of getting potatoes from the field, to the grocery store, and eventually onto your plate. They saw planting machinery, the seed preparation process, potato storage, the cleaning and sorting phases, the packaging process, and even how the potatoes are stored and shipped to distributors.
