It’s that time of year!

🎒📚 Back-to-school season is almost here!

The 31st Annual Virginia and Perry Henderson Back to School Celebration is a wonderful opportunity for Dane County students and families to get ready for the new school year.

Students can receive a free backpack (one per student) while supplies last. Families must attend together, and students must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The Soft Hour happens on every fourth Saturday of the Month where you can talk about anything and everything

The Pleasure Table is diving into real topics this summer, peri/menopause with Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and pleasure and movement at Miss Pole. And Glow & Gather is our annual celebration of Black womanhood with The River Food Pantry on August 30.

“Brooklyn Doby — also known by her artist name B.Denae Artistry — is the artist in residence at Art House 360 in Verona this month. Doby will be available for one-on-one conversations, displaying her work during the meet and greet.

"This will be an opportunity to hear about my artistic journey and to just connect with the community and have fun, mix n' mingle and celebrate the creative arts of the world," said Doby.

The event is Thursday, July 9, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Art House 360.”

Summer is here and so is The Club.

Focused Interruption is partnering with Boys and Girls Club of Dane County to bring free summer programming to teens at two Madison locations through August 14. The Club Teen Center runs Monday through Friday with supervised transportation provided on Mondays and Fridays, daily dinner and snacks, positive adult mentorship, and field trips including Sky Zone and Kalahari.

Completely free. Open now through August 14.

Monday and Friday, 3:00 to 9:00 PM, transportation provided

Tuesday through Thursday, 3:00 to 8:30 PM
