No politician can save us. Working people in Wisconsin are facing many crises driven by corporate greed and a government captive to those corporate interests.
We are endorsing Francesca Hong for governor because we believe she will be an ally to working people in Wisconsin. She already has a track record of showing up when it matters, working to be accountable to her neighbors, and using her position in state government to advocate for a better Wisconsin.
Francesca Hong has taken principled stances on issues important to working people before they were popular or widely accepted. In 2024, Fran frequently came to the UW Madison encampment for Palestine to show support. No other candidate has exhibited that level of moral clarity.
The owners of data centers want AI to take your water, your clean air, your electricity, and your job and force you into a permanent underclass. Francesca Hong is the only candidate in the Democratic primary to support a statewide moratorium on data centers.
On the minimum wage, healthcare, childcare, AI, and housing, Fran is championing policies that would create breathing room for Wisconsinites. We cannot afford to moderate on issues that are life or death for working Wisconsinites.
Join your union (or organize your workplace), talk to your neighbors, and vote for Fran Hong in the democratic primary on August 11th. Whoever wins in August (and November) will need to be pushed by the organized voices of millions of Wisconsinites demanding a government that works for them. Solidarity forever!
