When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. – Acts 4:31

Holy tenacity invites us to remain rooted in hope, even when the road is long.

💬 Where have you seen your church persevere through challenge in a way that strengthened your faith or ministry?

Maybe it was walking through a difficult season, continuing to serve when it wasn’t easy, or trusting God in the unknown—we’d love to hear your story.

32 candles. 32 years of ministry.

This year, we’re inviting you to celebrate with us in a meaningful way—by becoming a monthly donor at $32 a month.

Like many nonprofits, our first quarter giving has fallen short of what we had hoped. And while we’ve been able to continue showing up for our partners through careful planning, we know that consistent, monthly support is what allows this work to continue and grow.

Your $32/month helps us:
• Walk alongside communities across Alabama
• Support ministers and congregations
• Invest in long-term, faithful presence where it’s needed most

If Alabama CBF has been meaningful to you, this is a simple, steady way to be part of what comes next.

Join us in celebrating 32 years—by helping sustain the work for year 33.

This month, we’re highlighting the final Thriving Congregation trait: Holy Tenacity.

Holy tenacity means persevering in hope, grounded in the Spirit, refusing to give up in the face of challenge, and pressing on toward the abundant life promised in Christ.

Thriving congregations don’t avoid difficulty—they remain steady through it. With deep trust in God’s presence, they continue showing up, loving well, and holding onto hope even when the path is hard.
