Your voice matters! Help ensure Wisconsin has the ability to responsibly manage its gray wolf population. Please take a minute to contact Senator Tammy Baldwin and ask for her support of S.1306.

The Senate may consider S. 1306 this week, legislation that would remove the gray wolf from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife under the Endangered Species Act and return management authority to state wildlife agencies. Wisconsin Farm Bureau members should contact Sen. Baldwin to ask for her support of the legislation as is and to encourage her to ask her colleagues for support as well.

Thank you to everyone came out to last night’s twilight picnic! We had close to 40 members from across the county join us last night.

Members were able to discuss important issues that are impacting their farms, businesses, and rural communities with the candidates seeking election this fall.

The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 is advancing in Congress, with a vote expected soon. This marks an important step forward in what has been a long-delayed process to reauthorize federal farm policy.

For Wisconsin, this legislation is especially critical given the state’s reliance on dairy and the broader agricultural economy. The bill includes provisions to strengthen dairy research programs, expand dairy consumption through nutrition incentives, and modernize tools like Dairy Margin Coverage and forward pricing programs.
