Girl Scouts take "make the world a better place" seriously.

Whether through community service projects, Gold Award initiatives, volunteering for causes they care about, standing up for others, or simply being a good friend, Girl Scouts show up.

Because making a difference doesn't always start with a big moment. Sometimes it's helping a neighbor, welcoming someone new, speaking up for what's right, or lending a hand when it's needed. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a lasting impact.

Girl Scouts know that leadership isn't just about what you achieve. It's about how you help others, strengthen your community, and lift people up along the way.

From everyday acts of kindness to projects that create sustainable change, Girl Scouts are making the world a better place—and inspiring others to do the same.

💚 When you believe every action matters, making a difference becomes part of who you are.

Join us in celebrating Jane for earning her Girl Scout Gold Award! 💛

For her project, History in a Box, Jane partnered with the Historic Blooming Grove Historical Society to create a traveling history presentation that brings local artifacts and stories directly into elementary school classrooms. By making history more accessible to students who may not be able to visit the museum, Jane is helping young learners connect with their community in a fun and meaningful way.

A dedicated Girl Scout and camper, Jane also stays busy with music, Model United Nations, Math Team, and swimming. Her creativity, leadership, and commitment to service are making a lasting impact.

Congratulations, Jane, on this incredible achievement and on helping others discover the stories that shape our community. We can't wait to see all you accomplish next! 💚

On Saturday, nearly 200 Girl Scouts gathered at Henry Vilas Zoo for the Top Cookie Celebration, recognizing their hard work, goal setting, decision making, people skills, and leadership throughout the cookie season.

Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland Council received their certificates, explored the zoo with family and friends, voted on future rewards, made crafts and SWAPS, competed in tower building, played games like chicken limbo, enjoyed face painting and hair tinsel, and cooled off with ice cream on a hot day.

This year, Girl Scouts also put their commitment to community into action by donating $3,850 in Product Program Philanthropy Donations to Henry Vilas Zoo. Girl Scouts and Badgerland CEO Lisa Smith proudly presented the check to the zoo during the celebration.

Congratulations to our top cookie sellers! Your confidence, creativity, and dedication are making a difference in your troops, your communities, and beyond.

Join us in celebrating Dayna on earning her Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest achievement in Girl Scouting! 🌟💚

For her project, Children's Picture Book for Anxiety Awareness, Dayna created a children's book that helps young readers understand anxiety in an age-appropriate and meaningful way. By sharing a story that promotes mental health awareness, she is helping children feel seen, supported, and more comfortable talking about their emotions.

A Girl Scout who also earned the Bronze Award and Silver Award, Dayna has grown as a confident leader and changemaker. We are inspired by her creativity, compassion, and commitment to making a lasting difference in her community.

Congratulations, Dayna! Your project is helping open important conversations and creating a brighter future for young people.

Join us in celebrating Hannah on earning her Girl Scout Gold Award! 🌟

For her Gold Award project, Blessing Box, Hannah built a community blessing box stocked with food and personal hygiene items to support individuals and families in need. Her project reflects the spirit of service and leadership, creating a lasting impact for those who may not have access to enough food or essential toiletries.

A dedicated Girl Scout who also earned both the Bronze Award and Silver Award, Hannah has spent years growing as a leader and giving back to her community. One of her favorite Girl Scout experiences has been participating in fundraisers, and outside of Girl Scouts, she enjoys developing her artistic talents through drawing.

Congratulations, Hannah! Your compassion, initiative, and commitment to helping others are inspiring. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see what you do next. 💚

Cookie Season fuels more than just your sweet tooth. It creates space for Girl Scouts to lead, make decisions, solve problems, and see what they’re capable of.

Thank you to everyone who supported this season and invested in local Girl Scout experiences. Every purchase helped power opportunities for confidence, leadership, connection, and growth that lasts far beyond Cookie Season.

And to every Girl Scout and volunteer who showed up with focus, ambition, and determination: you made this season happen. You set goals, stayed committed, and proved what’s possible through teamwork and perseverance.

That impact will carry forward long after the last box is gone. 💚

Congratulations to Stella on earning her Girl Scout Gold Award! 🌟

For her project, Stella partnered with Enough! Plays to End Gun Violence to bring an important conversation to her community through the power of storytelling. She organized a public performance featuring six plays written by high school students from across the country, bringing together local small business owners, student actors, community leaders, and gun violence prevention advocates.

More than 150 people attended the live performance, with another 100 joining by livestream. Through a thoughtful post-show talkback with local politicians and experts, Stella created a space where community members could connect, learn, and discover meaningful ways to take action.

From earning her Bronze and Silver Awards to achieving the highest award in Girl Scouting, Stella has shown courage, leadership, and a deep commitment to creating positive change. She also reflects the lasting power of Girl Scout sisterhood, sharing that even after 10 years together, she and her troop still make time for one another through every busy season of life.

As Stella looks ahead to studying political science and international relations and hopes to travel the world, we know she will continue leading with purpose and compassion wherever she goes.

Congratulations, Stella. Your voice, leadership, and dedication are making a difference. 💚

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that no one should have to navigate hard moments alone. 💚

Right here in Wisconsin, too many girls are struggling with their mental health:
• 1 in 2 high school girls meets the clinical definition of depression
• 5 out of 10 high school girls report feeling sad or hopeless for two or more weeks in a row
• 25% of girls say they don’t have a trusted adult to talk to when they need help

That’s why Girl Scouts is committed to creating spaces where kids feel safe, supported, and connected. Through trusted mentors, meaningful friendships, and experiences that build confidence and resilience, Girl Scouts helps them know they are seen, valued, and never alone.

Everyone deserves support, belonging, and the chance to grow into who they are meant to become. 💚
