Keep Mississippi Beautiful

Vicksburg, we need your help!

Please come out and volunteer for our Fall Into Action: Vicksburg Citywide Cleanup on Friday, October 23rd, from 8:00–11:00 AM!

If you've never volunteered with us before, don't worry! There are several ways to help. You can pick up litter, deliver water to volunteers along cleanup routes, or help beautify one of our flower beds around town.

Get a group of friends, coworkers, church members, or your civic organization together and come spend the morning making Vicksburg a little more beautiful!

You don't have to stay the entire time. Even an hour of your morning can make a difference. What a great way to start your weekend!

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post! We'd love to see a great turnout from our community!

Did you know that Mississippi has an average of 152 pieces of litter for every state resident?

That might sound like a lot, but imagine what we could accomplish if each of us picked up just one piece.

First Lady of Mississippi Elee Reeves and The Mississippi Litter Prevention Task Force made this great PSA to highlight what each of us can do to keep our state clean and green.
