🥫We are always in need of businesses and organizations to run food drives. Please contact David at [email protected] to register, or consider giving directly to our Feed Lake County fund at uwlc.org/feed-lake-county, and we will do the shopping for you!

The mail carriers serving Madison exhibit exceptional commitment by enthusiastically delivering donated food to the Madison Food Center in addition to their daily responsibilities. Captions are under each picture.
EDIT! We received 1.716 pounds of food today. A huge thank you to JoAnn and Allen Eckert, Joann Bowlus, Debbie Barber and Jill Sterling for spending the afternoon checking dates, sorting and shelving the items! We are fortunate to have these wonderful volunteers!

Sherry droppings off 1st delivery of the day! Thanks to all who participated in Stamp out hunger 2026! We have a team of volunteers ready to sort and shelve these items! More photos to come!

Time to get ready! Saturday, May 9, 2026 is the annual Stamp out Hunger food drive sponsored by USPS. Check your pantry or pick up a few extra items to put at your mail box on Saturday morning. Your mail carrier will get it directly to the Madison Food Center to go on our shelves! We appreciate this boost in stock to start the summer season!

STOP IN TODAY! Tuesday, May 5th, we will host a speaker from the Lake County Council on Aging during our afternoon hours, 1:00-2:45. She will have information about programs and handouts. Clients, you may stop in to ask questions and gather information, even if it’s not your week to shop. Stop by for good information and help for yourself or a loved one.

The United States Post Office will host the Stamp Out Hunger event on Saturday, May 9, 2026. To take part, prepare a bag of non-perishable food items and place it at or on your mailbox for collection by your mail carrier, who will then deliver it to Madison’s Food Center. This annual event readies the community for summer with a steady food supply. Donors are kindly requested to verify the expiration dates of their contributions.

Madison High School's Student Council donated 703 hygiene products to the Madison Food Center, which is a welcome contribution as these items are usually purchased locally due to their unavailability through the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Transportation Manager Joe White oversaw the delivery. Thank you to all who donated and to the members of Student Council for heading the drive.

If you are a part of a group, club, church group or would just like to do a project for Madison Food Center, please message us here. We are looking for just a few ready made packs for any homeless clients we may have stop by. More specifics will be given to whomever might wish to do this type of project.
