Due to the tragic fire at Trinity United Methodist Church, this year’s Annual Duck Race Fundraiser will now be held at the Jefferson County Historic Society (also known as the History & Art Center) in downtown Madison from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Everyone here at the Jefferson County Youth Shelter is deeply saddened by this heartbreaking event, and our thoughts are with all those affected as the community begins to move forward and heal.

We are grateful for the continued support of our community and look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s Duck Race as we come together to support the Jefferson County Youth Shelter!

Last night, our community experienced a heartbreaking loss with the fire at Trinity United Methodist Church.

For many years, Trinity has been a valued supporter of the Jefferson County Youth Shelter and the youth we serve. Their kindness, generosity, and commitment to helping others have made a lasting impact on our organization and our community.

We are thinking of the congregation, staff, and everyone affected during this difficult time. Our hearts are with you as you begin the process of healing and rebuilding. Please know that your community stands beside you with support, care, and prayers.

A huge thank you to Abby’s Sweet Treats for this beautiful cake! Our staff and residents' will enjoy this cake! We love that our community is always thinking of us!

Mike Fitzgerald, your generous bid on the cake, which you graciously allowed me to direct, is bringing joy to the Jefferson County Youth Shelter ❤️, come to find out, the kids will soon get to enjoy planting food and flowers - we'll be back with more donations to nurture their green thumbs. 🌷
