Started in 2016 by Juilliard-graduated composer and Madison native Zachary Green, the Madison New Music Festival aims to strengthen Madison’s cultural vitality through the celebration of contemporary works. The festival presents brand new pieces by the world’s leading and emerging composers, shares underplayed classics of the contemporary repertoire, and shines a spotlight on new music created here in Wisconsin.
