🌟 Fairway Cares Champion Spotlight: Susan Howe 🌟

Today, we are honored to spotlight Susan Howe, a true Fairway Cares Champion! 💙

Susan has been part of the Fairway Home Mortgage family for more than 17 years and currently serves as VP of Branch Development for Fairway United. Throughout her time at Fairway, she has consistently demonstrated what it means to lead with compassion, kindness, and a heart for serving others.

What makes Susan such an incredible champion? Her enormous heart for people, her willingness to respond when there is a need, and the beautiful way she makes others feel truly seen, heard, and valued. These qualities leave a lasting impact on everyone she encounters.

Last year during Pacing for Packages while we were bringing awareness to Alzheimer’s/Brain Health - Susan’s passion was on full display as she led an effort to provide Fairway Cares Bears to the memory care facility where her father resides. The timing was especially meaningful, as the bears were delivered during the week of her dad’s birthday. 🧸❤️

The impact was priceless. Residents, caregivers, and families were reminded that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten. What may have seemed like a simple gesture created moments of connection, comfort, and joy that will be remembered for years to come.

Susan, thank you for being a shining example of what it means to live out the Fairway Cares mission. Your kindness, compassion, and commitment to serving others inspire all of us.

☀️🚶‍♂️📦 PACING for PACKAGES with Waylon! 🐾

Several Fairway teammates took a quick break from the workday to join Waylon for a brisk walk—and the benefits went far beyond getting our steps in!

In just 20 minutes, we experienced:
✅ Movement and exercise
✅ Fresh air and sunshine
✅ Meaningful conversations
✅ Connection with teammates we don’t often get to see
✅ A powerful reminder of the value of COMMUNITY ❤️

What started as a simple walk became an opportunity to strengthen relationships, boost our well-being, and reconnect with one another.

Pacing for Packages is about so much more than raising awareness for Fairway Cares. It’s about inspiring healthier habits, building stronger connections, and making positive changes—one step at a time.

Today we are honored to spotlight Marsha Blair — Branch Marketing Assistant for Branch 2022 in Milford, OH, and a passionate Fairway Cares Champion who has been making an incredible impact during her nearly 4 years with Fairway Home Mortgage. 💙

Marsha has brought excitement, creativity, and heart to Fairway Cares — especially through our Young at Art initiative. As a former Art educator, her experience and passion aligned beautifully with bringing Fairway Cares into the classroom and helping children experience the powerful messages of love, courage, strength, and hope that are at the heart of Fairway Cares.

Through art, students were not only encouraged to express themselves creatively, but also given the opportunity to share gratitude and kindness in meaningful ways. Watching these children engage, create, and connect through compassion has been truly inspiring.

Marsha embodies what being a Fairway Cares Champion is all about — using her gifts, talents, and passion to impact others and create moments that matter.

Today we are honored to spotlight Alex Grage — Accounts Payable Specialist, Fairway Cares Champion, and someone who truly puts COMPASSION INTO ACTION every single day. 💙

Alex pours her heart, time, energy, and love into raising Waylon through Custom Canines — helping prepare him to one day become a battle buddy for a deserving veteran. What an incredible gift of service and HOPE. 🐾🇺🇸

As we continue to focus on Mental Health Awareness, Alex is the perfect example of what it means to care deeply for others and make a tangible difference. Beyond her role at Fairway, she also serves as a first responder and the elderly in her community, consistently going above and beyond to love and serve those around her.
