💚It’s National Nonprofit Day — and we are SO GRATEFUL! 💚

Today, we celebrate the incredible nonprofits across our country that are making a difference every single day — from cancer research and Ronald McDonald Houses to food pantries, shelters, schools, animal rescues and so many more.

Behind so much of the good happening in our communities are people who choose to give. They give their dollars. They give their time. They give their talents. And they give their hearts. ❤️

At Fairway Cares, we know there are countless places your generosity could go. We are incredibly grateful that you choose to invest some of your time and talents with us.

Our amazing volunteers make it possible to take each package and make it extra special — adding those personal touches that remind someone going through a difficult season that they are seen, loved and not alone.

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Nate Bisco! 💚

Nate has been part of the Fairway family for over 12 years and currently serves as SVP, Vendor Governance & Branch Support. He brings a wealth of Fairway knowledge, a great sense of humor, and—most importantly—a genuine heart to serve.

Nate is someone who is always willing to step in when needed. His dedication, attention to detail, and incredible people skills bring so much value to our Fairway Cares Champions and the work we do together. We are grateful for the way he leads, serves, and helps make a difference! ❤️

And today, 229 Fairway Cares Warmie Bears are on their way to Delaware! 💚

Our incredible Branch Manager Lori Martin and her team, the SOLE SISTERS, raised these bears through Pacing for Packages to bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to children and adults in nursing homes.

Because that’s the WHY behind Fairway Cares. 💚

A Warmie Bear may seem simple, but to the person receiving it, it can be a tangible reminder that they matter and they are cared for.

🌟 FAIRWAY CARES CHAMPION SPOTLIGHT: BRITTNEY HANSEN 🌟

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Brittney Hansen, a Loan Officer in Monument, CO, who has been part of the Fairway family for more than 8 years! 💚

I had the opportunity to meet Brittney during her Fairway Day, and instantly knew she would be a perfect fit for Fairway!! Her heart for serving others is genuine, and her passion for making a difference shines through in everything she does.

Brittney is especially drawn to causes that empower and encourage women, and she has brought her creativity, energy, and heart to raising awareness for breast cancer. She has also been a wonderful encourager and supporter of Paint the Street Pink each October, helping bring awareness and hope to an important cause. 🎀

But what truly makes Brittney special is the way she shows up. Her joy is contagious. Her energy is uplifting. And her heart for people is undeniable.

Brittney, thank you for being a Champion who uses your gifts, your creativity, and your voice to lift others up. We are so grateful to have you on this journey with us!

Is it the things inside the box?

Or is it the feeling of knowing that someone thought about you… cared about you… and wanted you to know you’re not alone?

A package can bring a moment of hope in the middle of a difficult season.
It can remind someone that they are seen.
That they matter.
That there are people standing beside them — even when they may not know who those people are.

Sometimes a package is more than a gift.

It’s LOVE.
It’s COURAGE.
It’s STRENGTH.
It’s HOPE.

Every step, every mile, and every donation represents something so much bigger than a fundraiser. It means love delivered to someone facing a critical illness, courage for a family navigating loss, strength during physical trauma, and hope when life feels overwhelming.

Today, with just 7 hours to go, we are only $3,500 away from our goal of doubling what we raised last year! 🎉

Because of this incredible community, care packages and financial grants continue to reach people in their darkest moments, reminding them that they are not alone.
