The Chavez book fair is coming up during parent/teacher conferences this fall.

Help us ensure every child has the opportunity to bring something home from the book fair! Your donation to our Share the Fair fund helps us provide books for Chavez students who may need assistance to shop the fair.

Join us for this year’s Cheetah Chase - Chavez’s annual 5k/1 mile fun run/walk. The event is May 17 and registration deadline is this coming week on Friday (April 18).

Registration includes a race shirt and bib, a pre-race party, and snacks at the finish line. We hope to see you there!

The annual Chavez fun fair is one week away on Saturday, March 8 from 10 am to 2 PM.

We need your help! Fun Fair is only made possible by our amazing volunteers. We still have over 100 volunteer shifts to fill and will need to close games or activities if we do not have volunteers for them. Anyone can volunteer - grandparents, neighbors, teens, community members, etc.

Our online auction starts in just a few days and we are blown away by the generosity of the Chavez community as the donations keep pouring in!

Today's new additions to our auction album include several donations by Chavez staff and family - a private tour and tasting of State Line Distillery by owner (and Chavez parent!) John Mleziva, origami with Chavez bilingual resource teacher Maestra Claudia, giraffe gift basket (the official mascot of Ms. Riester's music classes!) donated by music teacher Ms. Riester, and an ice cream sundae lunch bunch with Chavez instructional coach Ms. Schieve.

Other fantastic donations include a week of summer camp (!!!) at Infinity Martial Arts in Fitchburg, a pizza party at Black Belt America, a month of classes at Forward Thai Boxing, a BeneBlends basket including gift card, a Havens Petting Farm gift certificate, Gymfinity gift basket including Parents Night Out voucher, To Cook or Not To Cook gift basket including restaurant gift cards, and ice cream treats for your child's classroom provided by PTO.

Bidding starts Monday at 8 am and we can't wait to see who are going to be the lucky winners of these and more great offerings this year!
