Work day! Lunch and beverages provided. If you missed the last one, please come out this time to help us get the trails into prime shape for the Lungbuster. We will be running equipment, and we will need all the volunteers we can get to follow us along with hand tools to help with the fine detail. If you've never held a tool and don't know how to help, we would be more than glad to show you the ropes and get you up to speed. There's not much like riding a trail and being able to say that you had a part in making it as good as it can be. Can't make it Saturday? We'll be out there Sunday as well trying to get as much done as we can this weekend

Mark your calendars! Come on out the third weekend of October and join us for the 19th annual McGee Lungbuster. On Saturday, we'll have an enduro race, and Sunday we'll have our cross country race. If you've never raced before, we'll be having both a "First Timers" and a "Just for Fun" category, depending on how competitive you're feeling your first go round. Keep an eye out for more information on the event in the near future

July 25th, 9AM, Urban Foxes. We'll try to roll out at 9:30, go at a reasonable pace without leaving anyone behind, and split into groups if we have to

If you still haven't tried the Belhaven trails, this would be a great excuse to give them a go. Assuming I don't get lost again, we'll hit every trail there before riding back to our cars on the Museum Trail

How about we kick off the summer with some simple community fun?

Saturday, June 13th, 9AM. Bring a friend, bring a bike, and meet up at Urban Foxes in Jackson for a no-drop community ride to and through the Belhaven trails and back again. We'll meet up at Urban Foxes at 9AM, chat over some coffee and/or pie, and get rolling about 9:45 to head to to Belhaven trails. Only a couple of blocks of public road before we're on the Museum Trail, and just a mile or so of that before we get a few miles of dirt.

If you've never ridden the Belhaven trails, this is your perfect excuse to give it a go. Let's all meet up, try to make a friend or two, and spend a morning having some fun as a community

Ridgeland trails are closed again. In addition to the rain, we've gotten reports of extensive storm damage, with a dozen or more trees down on the trails. We will work to get this cleaned up ASAP and make another announcement as soon as it's done

Reminder: We are still having a trail work day at the Ridgeland Trails this coming Saturday, weather permitting. Our main goal is going to be cleaning up all the sticks on the trails, as well as trimming back all the face slapping vines
