The Playing Field The Playing Field believes all children deserve the highest level of early education and care.

We transport children experiencing homelessness and serve them in the context of our School Family, right alongside children from far more advantaged families.

Our family events bring our School Family together every month.

In the past, we have had pumpkins donated for our October family nights and we are hoping to find 50 pumpkins for this month's gatherings.

Please help us connect with anyone who might be able to help us.

Thank you! 🎃 ❤️

We are celebrating our successful week of Conscious Discipline® Training!

Last week, our Executive Director, Abbi Kruse co-presented with Fraley to 222 guests from 32 states and 2 countries! Our Program Director, Michelle Henner served as the Lead Helper, coordinating all of the event staff and presenting as well.

We also opened our doors for early educators to tour our brand new Early Learning Center. Seeing our program through their eyes reminded us of how fortunate we are to have amazing donors and community support!

Thank you Plumbers Union Local 75 for partnering with us to make this possible!

Thank you to all who attended- both participants and helpers! We very much appreciate each one of you!

Conscious Discipline has been the backbone of our success in supporting children impacted by trauma and we are grateful for the opportunity to help others on their Conscious Discipline journey!

We heart CD!

Thank you to the Packers Foundation for investing in our community and helping us continue to make a difference!

Today, both sites wore their green & gold in celebration of the Packers! Please enjoy these photos of the cutest, little Packer Backers!

Happy Birthday to The Playing Field! Today, our midtown location is eleven years old and our east side site turns one!

We started out with a goal to break barriers for low income families to accessing high quality early care and education. These barriers include cost, transportation, and exclusive policies.

Each day, 250 US children are suspended or expelled from early childhood programs. This is often related to early adversity and translates to this- children most in need of nurturing early childhood programs are the ones most likely to be denied access. The Playing Field has demonstrated that with the proper support, children can be successful!

Many thanks to our supporters, families, and staff! You are helping us give all children a fair start to school and life success!
