🤝Thoughtful giving goes beyond meeting basic needs - it’s about showing others that they are seen, valued, and cared for. Every donation helps support the well- being and dignity of individuals and families in our community. Through education and acts of kindness, our students learn that giving with purpose can make a lasting difference.

🌎When we give with compassion and intention, we do more than meet needs - we help restore hope, strengthen our community, and remind others that they are important. We’re proud of our students for embracing the importance of compassion, generosity, and giving back to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

🦃Final Call for Thanksgiving Elementary Event!

🫶🏻The Grove, in partnership with the Overlook Auxiliary, is proud to support the annual Thanksgiving drive, providing everything needed for a warm holiday meal for patients of Overlook Hospital’s Health Start Clinic. The clinic provides free obstetric and pediatric care to more than 800 families in need.

🍁Give your child the opportunity to support our community by signing up for this special Thanksgiving event! Our young volunteers will help assemble festive Thanksgiving craft kits to accompany each meal basket, giving children a special surprise filled with fun, creativity, and holiday cheer!

🧡As Hunger Action Month comes to a close, our commitment to fighting food insecurity continues.

🦃This fall the Youth Council is partnering with Overlook Auxiliary on a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help combat hunger and support families in our community. One way YOU can help make a difference is by contributing food or funds to this effort (link in bio).

🤝 In the fight against hunger, we’re proud to partner with Interfaith Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, Nourish NJ, and America’s Grow a Row. Their work inspires us every day!

🌎The Thanksgiving Food Drive is just one example of how we’re working to address important needs in our communities. Over the coming months, we’ll be highlighting our Leadership Council and their meaningful service initiates. Stay tuned to follow their impact!

⭐️Meet one of our amazing Grove students, Elina, who turned inspiration into action! After learning about food insecurity through her experiences at the Grove, Elina found a way to make a difference in her own way.

♻️For her Girl Scouts Silver Award, she created a website to educate others about food waste and how reducing it can help fight food insecurity. Through her project, she encourages our community to take simple meaningful steps, like composting food scraps, donating surplus food, gleaning, and more.

💙Service starts with showing up. Our opening week of Grove programs gave our students a chance to show up, learn, and engage with two incredible service and education leaders.

⌛️We were honored to welcome Justin Kiczek, President of the F.M. Kirby Foundation, who shared inspiring messages about the importance of service and how the greatest resource we can give is our time. From addressing important issues like food insecurity and homelessness, to supporting disability inclusion, every act of service creates a lasting community impact.

👥We were also inspired by Erin Wessling’s Council Fellows leadership training. She reminded us how strong leaders are built through teamwork, open communication, and collaboration. Her interactive lesson encouraged meaningful connection and reflection.

🌱Bringing inspiring leaders together with our Leadership Council and LC Fellows is a great way to help them grow. Huge thanks to Justin and Erin for sharing their time, wisdom, and experiences. We can’t wait to see how our students put these lessons into action!

This past Sunday, we had an amazing program kickoff for our new Leadership Council!🎉

🫶 Students spent the evening participating in collaborative team-building activities, sharing service ideas, and creating connections that will help shape the year ahead.

🤝 This year we are excited to introduce our new LC Fellows programs. These 10 Grove veterans will lead six service theme groups addressing: homelessness, food insecurity, service animals, developmental disability inclusion, physical disability inclusion, and youth support services.

🌎 We can’t wait to see the impact the entire Leadership Council will make on the world as they serve with gratitude, compassion and empathy!

We are thrilled to announce that The Grove Project has an official new home at Thursday Morning Club Madison Community House 🙌 🎉
Thursday Morning Club, Inc. and The Madison Community House have been supporters of and partners to The Grove since our inception. We couldn’t imagine a better place to put down our roots 🌳

🗓️ This Sunday, 9/13 from 2-4pm, we will mark a new chapter in our journey as we open our doors to the new Grove space.

🤝Youth Council meets ~ 1x/month on a Monday or Tuesday depending on the cohort you register for.
🫶Elementary programs- standalone events that are offered 4 times throughout the year. Register for however many work for your schedule.
