First it was record rainfall in April along with tremendous damage from hail. Now May is starting to look like a drought month. A dry northern plains and into Canada could bring another bad wildfire season. This Union of Concerned Scientists report details the threats we may especially be facing this year as a result of climate change.

We need to be getting off fossil fuels now. We already have too much damage already engrained in our system.

Climate change, harmful leadership, and an unaffordable cost of living loom large this Danger Season.

The City of Madison is updating its pedestrian plan, and are accepting comments through April 27. This is your opportunity to weigh in about how you and others get around by foot - safely.

The City of Madison is proposing a moratorium on the data center development juggernaut to consider the impacts of such developments on the Madison area.

The city council and mayor are moving to place a one-year moratorium on zoning certificates for data centers while the city develops changes to its zoning code to address such uses.
