We're excited to welcome Kari to The Merc team!

Originally from Washington, Kari has spent time living in Morris and is happy to be part of the Madison community. Her favorite drink is a rich and delicious Turtle Mocha, so if you're looking for a recommendation, that's a great place to start!

What does she love most about The Merc? The community. She loves seeing people come together, connect, and make The Merc such a welcoming place for everyone.

Have you stopped by our Makers & Farmers Market yet?

Every Wednesday from 3–6 PM, the Merc fills up with local goodness. Pick up fresh eggs from Oakley and Bennett, grab a loaf of incredible sourdough from Grand Slam Sourdough, baked fresh by Ann Fernholz, and discover what else our local makers and growers have brought to town.

While you're here, treat yourself to a coffee and stick around for tacos from El Conde, serving every Wednesday from 4–7 PM. Trust us, one taco is rarely enough.

Have something you make, grow, bake, or create that you'd like to sell? We'd love to have you join us! Reach out to us and we'll help you get set up at an upcoming market.

⚡ We were dark yesterday... but we're back on and brewing today! ☕

A huge thank you for your patience while Potter Electric upgraded our electrical capacity. The Mercantile is now powered up and ready for an exciting future filled with even more opportunities for our community.

⚡ Reminder: The Merc is closed today! ⚡

Our building will be without power for part of the day as our friends at Potter Electric upgrade our electrical capacity.

This exciting improvement is a big step toward expanding what we can offer our community in the future, including a shared community kitchen, a community workshop, potential EV charging, and other possibilities we're dreaming up.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make these upgrades. We can't wait to share what's next!
