Our middle "in-between" room—affectionately named "Gary-Dale" because four different guys named Gary helped build it—is made for those quiet pauses between life's rushes. It sits right in the middle of official holiday meetups, kids' practices, appointments, and daily busyness. It is a cozy spot to catch up, slow down, and remember that life isn't just about the big milestones—it is found in these moments, too.

Grab your favorite drink and your favorite people to stop and sit a spell...it's what we're here for!

Pardon the noise, but big things are happening at The Merc this week! 🚧

The floor of our food hub/community kitchen are officially going in! It is a little loud in the back of the building right now, but every hammer and tool brings us one step closer to our vision.

Our area is home to so many talented, passionate local food producers. These small businesses deserve to thrive, but they shouldn't have to "go it alone." That is why we are building this food aggregation hub.

Working alongside University of Minnesota Extension experts, we are designing this space to feature:

🍳 Commercial kitchen for production
❄️ Cold and dry storage solutions
🛍️ Retail space to connect directly with consumers

We are setting the literal foundation this week with these floors so we can provide the business development, training, and resources our regional food creators need. Thank you for bearing with the noise—the future of local food is being built right now!
