Have you been wondering what we are building? Considering a monthly donation to the Caroline’s Corner Giving Circle but not sure what the money is used for? Take a peek at the second floor of Caroline’s Corner, a space that will house room for play therapy, art therapy, group therapy, parenting classes, nutrition education, and more. Every dollar that is donated goes directly to improving the lives of children and families in our community through these holistic mental health services. We are still building, but even in our building stage we are hosting a bimonthly food pantry for 25 families, have planted fall veggies in our community share garden with Madison Community Grocery Project, hosted some fun kids crafting classes and sponsored parenting classes at Madison Pediatric Wellness Center . We are just getting started and are so excited for what’s to come. If you want to be a part of this work, please consider a $13/month tax-deductible donation or reach out about volunteer opportunities. There is room for everyone in the work we are doing to build a brighter future for Jefferson County. Www.carolinescornerin.org/monthly-giving-circle

Hooray! We have dirt for the garden beds! Yesterday we built the beds, and tomorrow, we will fill them up with dirt. We would love to have lots of volunteers show up to help. We will have shovels, wheelbarrows, and gloves for anyone who wants to help! Starting at 3pm.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us to partner with Madison Community Grocery Project and Madison Pediatric Wellness Center and for you to help us grow healthy delicious food for community members in need. No need to rsvp for volunteering tomorrow, but your comments and shares do help! And if you would like to be a volunteer on an ongoing basis with garden maintenance, we would love to have you! Send us a message with your email address and full name and we will add you to our volunteer list. 🌱💛☀️

What a great day spent with Madison Community Grocery Project building FIVE raised garden beds! And the good news is, there’s still plenty more volunteer opportunities! 😃😃 The dirt didn’t get delivered today, so we are planning on filling the beds on Wednesday afternoon starting at about 3pm if you’re able to come help! We will provide the shovels, wheelbarrows, and dirt; you provide a strong back and a helping hand.

We are so thankful for the volunteers that came out today to work hard for an amazing cause. Soon these beds will be filled with delicious healthy food to share with our community!! It’s amazing what we can do when we partner and remember that we are Stronger Together!

Ps. Happy birthday, Laura! Thanks for spending your big day with us. We are glad you got to spend it doing your favorite things. 🌱

The school year just started and you are already so tired. Not sleepy tired. The kind of tired that sits in your chest before your feet even hit the floor.

You dread mornings before they start. That heavy drop in your stomach right when the alarm goes off because you already know what’s coming.

The frustration builds fast and it scares you a little how fast it climbs. You didn’t want to raise your voice again. You never do. But by the third or fourth “we have to go,” something in you just snaps.

Then the guilt shows up. The kind that follows you the rest of the day, long after school drop off. You love your child more than anything, yet some mornings you just can’t stand the sound of the fight.

You are not bad at this. You are exhausted and doing this without a plan built for your family.

That changes on Saturday, September 12th @ 10 AM. The Meltdown Prevention: School Mornings workshop, a FREE in-person 2-hour workshop right here in Madison brought to you by Caroline’s Corner & Madison Pediatric Wellness Center . Come as you are with your toughest morning challenge in mind; leave with an actual plan on paper that you can start using on Monday morning.

You can have calmer school mornings. It doesn’t always have to be this hard. Only 25 spots. Register today so you don’t miss out!
