❤️ Big thank you to all our donors for making it possible to provide a Fetal Heart Rate Doppler to Kaparu Mission Clinic ❤️

Nurse Lauren handed the equipment over and provided a quick tutorial on how to use the machine. The midwives were very grateful and were experts at assessing the patient. *Full consent gained to take pictures from the patient and post them*

Bauleni Hospital has received essential equipment to strengthen emergency and routine care: automatic BP monitors, nebulisers, an ECG machine, and critical pediatric airway supplies.

🫶 On Wednesday we travelled 3 hours North to Kaparu Mission Hospital ❤️

The clinic serves a population of 9000 and is the main maternity facility in the area. Last year we donated a delivery bed, steriliser, Fetal heart rate doppler amongst other medical supplies.

This year we are donating a Ultrasound machine that can provide prenatal checks for the mothers in the surrounding 5 districts. This will help improve early detection of complicated labours and help prevent maternal death.

We also donated hygiene packs that the clinic will use to encourage the pregnant mothers to attend their pre and post natal appointments. Big shout out to everyone in antrim ED for donating and to Gym Antrim community for helping with this great cause ❤️

🫶 Two days training completed at Bauleni mini hospital ✔️

The staff had requested training for adult, infant and neonatal CPR. We also included managing the choking infant and IV cannulation in the infant 👶

The atmosphere and energy was brilliant with everyone learning off one another. Big thank you to the staff at Bauleni! You were all amazing 👏

We left the mini hospital with airways, ambu-bags, nebuliser machines and blood pressure monitors. We also donated an ECG machine and provided teaching on the same ❤️

A huge shoutout and overdue thank you to Suz and Vinny at Gym Antrim for the incredible support they gave us during our Goggins Challenge fundraiser!

We genuinely could not have run this event, or raised anywhere near what we did, without your help, encouragement, and belief in what we’re doing at PULSE International.

Thanks to this amazing weekend and the community around it, over £8,000 was raised!

Our David Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge with was an incredible success! Together we raised an amazing £8,230 (beating last year’s total!)

Over 50 participants took on the challenge - running solos, in pairs, or as a relay team - supported every step of the way by an amazing community!

Huge thanks to all the local businesses (many proud Gym Antrim members!) who sponsored all 12 runs, and to everyone who came out, cheered, donated and ran alongside us.

All money raised will go directly toward shipping lifesaving medical supplies to local clinics in Zambia - where Lisa and Lauren from PULSE will be traveling early next year to help distribute them.

On September 26th–28th, I’ll be taking on the 4x4x48 David Goggins Challenge — running 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours straight.

Why? Because this isn’t just about me.
I’m running to help fund a container of life-saving medical supplies and solar panels to power vital machines, keeping them running even when the lights go out.

This challenge is grueling, but nothing compared to the daily struggles of those who desperately need these resources.
