🐶 Reading to Dogs is on June 13 at 10 AM to noon at Madison Public Library. Come meet the therapy dogs certified by The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs Inc. and enjoy some quality time reading together. We have a wonderful selection of pup-approved books for all ages. 📚❤️

The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. Teams were at Lydia Middleton Elementary School this week for a visit. Our dogs loved listening to children read to them and enjoyed the extra attention they received!

Teams from the The Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, Inc. were at the Ohio Theater in Madison, IN to greet everyone as they arrived for an Autism Awareness event. Participants visited informational booths, made crafts, and viewed a free movie, “The Unbreakable Boy”. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful day and the dogs enjoyed all the extra attention!

Certified Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog Teams were at the Jefferson County Public Library - Madison and Hanover this morning for Read to the Dogs. Children practiced their oral reading skills by reading to the Dogs. Reading to a Dog instead of a Person is much easier for a new reader. They don’t feel like the dog is judging them when they mispronounce a word. Petting the dog while they read is very calming. Our next Read to the Dog event will be on June 13. If you have a well-behaved dog & are interested in becoming a Therapy Dog team, please send us a message!

We had a horrific tragedy in our small community of Canaan, IN on Wednesday, March 11 when a tree fell on the Miller Family’s house trailer killing their 9 year old son, Brayden. Several of our Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog Teams were at Canaan Community Academy on Thursday and Friday to try to help the children process the loss of their classmate. Please keep this family and Brayden’s friends in your prayers. A go fund me has been established to help the family with funeral costs and get them into a new home. The family suffered an unimaginable loss of their son and also lost everything they owned. Please consider donating to help them get back on their feet. They have two other children.

Madison, IN- Beginning Group Puppy/Dog Obedience -Level 1 Classes will be starting on Wednesday, October 29 at 4:00-5:00 pm; and 7:30-8:30 pm. We have openings in each time slot. 6, weekly, one-hour group lessons are $160. Lessons are held in our air conditioned/heated training center near Canaan in Madison, IN. Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, & DHLPP vaccinations. This will be our last set of Beginning Group Classes until March 2026. Instructor has 27 years of experience and is Canine Good Citizen and Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog evaluator Message for more information.
