Today an impressive community came together for the children we serve every single day. ❤️

On behalf of CASA of Jefferson County, thank you to every single person who attended, donated, volunteered, showed a vehicle, sponsored, shared a post, or simply stopped by to support our mission at Rumble on the River.

Because of this community, real children in Jefferson County will continue to have a voice during some of the hardest moments of their lives. The funds raised through events like this help us advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect — children who deserve safety, stability, and someone who will stand beside them in court, at school meetings, and through every step of their journey.

Today was filled with amazing cars, laughter, and memories, but the true impact goes far beyond the show field. It reaches the children who need hope, consistency, and caring adults in their corner.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for helping us make a difference where it matters most. We could not do this work without our communities!

This tour was incredible! The vision Beth has planned for Caroline’s Corner is very exciting to us! If you haven’t taken a tour we highly recommend it!!

We were so happy to have the wonderful ladies from CASA of Jefferson County come for a visit and tour of MPWC and Caroline’s Corner! We work together with CASA to help make sure that kids going through the DCS system get appropriate medical care in a warm and welcoming environment. Dr. McRoberts recently bid on a painting at CASA’s annual fundraiser and it’s our second one hanging in the office. These paintings are done by students at Madison Junior High School in partnership with local artists. We are so happy to have their work on display. Look for them next time you come in!

Please join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to our AMAZING Administrative Assistant, Leah Mays!

Leah first joined us in the fall of 2022 as a Volunteer Coordinator and held that position until January of 2024. During her time in that role, she oversaw 57 cases involving 103 children along with her volunteer team! She remained on as a CASA Volunteer, advocating for more children until October of 2025 and then returned as out temporary Administrative Assistant just last week!

Leah is such a joy to have back in the office and we are so very grateful to have her dedication and heart as part of our CASA family!

We hope you have a wonderful day, Leah!

We would like to take a moment to send a huge THANK YOU shout out to the women of Kappa Alpha Theta-Nu Chapter at Hanover College ! These amazing ladies have done so much for our program this year and we can't be more proud of their efforts!

Since January alone, the Theta ladies have worked to help us assemble our volunteer training binders, participated and won Sigma Chi's Derby Days event to raise over $1,500 for our program, created and hosted and completely "Rocked" their own "Rock the CASA" fundraising event for our program, and even joined us during finals week to help volunteer during our major fundraising event! We even gained a new CASA Volunteer from among their ranks this year and we look forward to having Maggie as part of our CASA family advocating for children in this county!

We are so very proud of this group of rising stars! We offer our "Congratulations" to the wonderful graduating seniors-we know that they have bright futures ahead, and we wish all of the ladies a safe and wonderful summer. We look forward to more collaborations in the fall!

Special thanks as well to the men of Sigma Chi who hosted the Derby Days event!
