As our 2026 Fundraising Lab series comes to a close, we're excited to bring this year's cohort together one last time for a morning of learning, reflection, and connection.

Over the past year, participants have come together to share ideas, strengthen fundraising strategies, and build relationships with fellow nonprofit professionals. We look forward to celebrating all they've accomplished and wrapping up the series on October 22! 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Lyndsey Ritchie to the Bethany Legacy Foundation team as our new Senior Manager, Community Engagement!

Lyndsey is a proud Hanover College alumni who started her career as a middle school English teacher before moving into marketing and nonprofit work.

She comes to us from Visit Madison, Inc., where she served as Marketing and Trolley Coordinator. At BLF, Lyndsey will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that elevates Bethany Legacy Foundation’s (BLF) visibility, strengthens its brand, and advances its mission.

When she is not working, she enjoys reading, hunting for new music, and spending time with family.

We’re excited to have Lyndsey join the BLF team and look forward to all she will bring to our organization and the communities we serve. Please help us give her a warm welcome!

You'll hear briefly from national voices like Joe Waters (Capita), EJ Dionne (Brookings Institution), Jay Chaudhary (Capita), and Dr. Ian Marcus Corbin (Capita), alongside local leaders from across Jefferson County. Then the floor opens. Your questions, your experiences, your ideas about what it would take to make our community stronger- that's the heart of the afternoon.

No expertise required. No agenda to defend. Just neighbors, some snacks, and two hours to think together about something that matters.

Jefferson County Churches: AED Grant Opportunity!

Bethany Legacy Foundation is excited to announce a new opportunity to help make our local churches—and the people they serve—safer.

Beginning September 8, churches in Jefferson County, Indiana can apply for an AED grant. Bethany Legacy Foundation will provide 10 AEDs each year for the next five years, helping place lifesaving equipment where it can make the greatest impact. The application will close October 9, 2026.

Churches must:
-Be located in Jefferson County
-Install the AED in an accessible location
-Commit to ongoing maintenance
-Train at least one staff member or volunteer in AED use
