IS THIS WHERE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY IS GOING?
WEC Energy Group (the parent company of We Energies) reported a net income of $1.527 billion attributed to common shareholders for the full year 2025.
AND YET, THE COMPANY WANTS TO RAISE YOUR RATES BY 14%.
WE Energies wants to pass on the costs of the data center build-out to you, the customer.
Join Sierra Club and other groups on Tuesday, September 1, at Alumni Memorial Union on the Marquette University campus, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave. Feedback sessions at 1:00 and 6:00 with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, and tell them it’s about time they started putting people over profits.

On August 25, Enbridge's construction on the Line 5 reroute caused a pipeline rupture and massive leak. Secretary Hyun of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources sent a letter stating that the Department is "deeply concerned....and immensley frustrated." Locally residents say Enbridge is continuing to do construction activities.

Yesterday, a semi truck rolled into an excavation site that's part of the Line 5 reroute project and ruptured the pipeline. Line 5 and other fossil fuel infrastructure pose risks like this every day they operate.

This spill happened while Enbridge has been moving as fast as possible to construct the Line 5 reroute amidst legal challenges to their permits. Across the 41-mile project local monitors have been documenting Enbridge's work and raising concerns about intimidation as we've seen multiple drilling failures throughout the summer.

This summer, the Public Service Commission (PSC, the agency that regulates electric and water utilities), held public input opportunities about two proposed methane gas plants. In both cases, the majority of public comments were opposed to the construction of these facilities.

This summer, the Public Service Commission (PSC, the agency that regulates electric and water utilities), held public input opportunities about two proposed methane gas plants, which are sometimes called "natural gas plants" by industry who want to make gas sound safer and cleaner than it is.
