Who else is getting really excited for YLF!!!! I know I am!!

This picture was taken in 2016, this is McKenna and her representatives staffer. Sometimes it’s better to get a staffer because if they find something important they can push it in the representatives direction more. With YLF coming up we will have a whole new group of delegates who will go to the capital, but remember don’t feel bad if you end up with a staffer they can have a lot of pull as well.

YLF Blue team this was YLF 2016

YLF was a great experience for me because it was One of the first times I got to be away from my parents for the entire week

What are you doing now?

I'm in the current vice president for the board of directors my experience in YLF has led to many great friends and oh, lots of other advocacy opportunities serving on the board has been an honor and a privilege and I enjoy every minute of it

I don’t have a person today but a picture from 2016 I will try to have a person by next week.

Has YLF helped you grow, if so how?
I would say Yes as a delegate it showed me there were people out in the world like me. This gave me confidence to MC the talent show and engage with my peers. Coming back as staff I grew my confidence and made many friends and after every year I would better myself, by filling my own pills and becoming more independent.
What are you doing now?
Now I baby sit for my niece and nephew, I try to keep up with disability advocacy. I help run a group at my church, as well as am now the president for the YLF Board of directors. I hope to gain more Independence in the future. Thank you YLF
