Hi Everyone,
This email is just to remind you about the special things regarding our May meetings. Remember that we are NOT meeting in person on Tuesday. Instead we will be having our first ever joint meeting that is both in-person and virtual. The in-person social time and buy/sell trade will begin at 6:15 PM in our new meeting space located at 301 S Blount St, Suite 301, Madison, WI 53703. Please remember that if you are attending in person, you can park in the building parking lot, in the adjacent lot across the train tracks by MG&E, or there is also ample street parking nearby. If you arrive before 6:15 PM, please either wait quietly in the hallway, or have a seat in the waiting area just inside the Suite 301 office to the left.

At the same time, we will also connect our virtual meeting using Google Meet. Zoom is now only allowing meetings of 40 minutes on our free plan. Google will at least allow at least 60 minutes.

The information to connect is included below:

Shortly before 7 PM, we will restart the virtual meeting or send attendees an updated link to join so that everyone can participate in our meeting. In person and virtual attendees will be able to all fully participate in all aspects of the meeting Our agenda will follow our typical format:

Greetings - any new members present?
Club business
Reports from Club Officers
Old Business (upcoming events or unresolved matters from previous meetings)

We are definitely trying something new here with this combined meeting! Please remember that is all this is - trying something new. We are not making any decisions or commitments at this time to whether we would try this again. There is no telling how it will go, but we will all try our best to make it as enjoyable for everyone as possible. Your patience, participation, and support are greatly appreciated!

Whether you choose to attend in person, or join virtually, we hope to see you soon on Wednesday, May 15th!

Badger State Enacts Sales Tax Exemption on Precious Metal Bullion
In a historic move, the Wisconsin Legislature has passed a sales- and use-tax exemption on the sales of precious-metal bullion, marking a significant milestone in the state's economic policy. Governor Tony Evers signed the legislation, Assembly Bill 29 Relating to: a sales and use tax exemption for precious metal bullion, on March 21, 2024. The law is set to take effect on March 22, 2024.
