Advisory Council member Sarah Cote is multi-talented!!!

A DOZEN YEARS LATER!

Sarah Cote previously had a farm-to-table business where she worked with farmers from all over Mississippi to source local goods. When Madison was preparing to launch its Farmers Market, Robin McCrory reached out, and Sarah helped connect farmers and vendors for that very first market in May 2014. She also had the privilege of managing the market through a grant in 2015.

Sarah said, "It’s so much fun to be here today, all these years later, with my boys, Mac and Mayer, and their friend Wrenley Kate, seeing the market still thriving and serving as such a vibrant community asset. It’s incredible to watch something that started with so much hard work and vision continue to grow, bringing people together and supporting local farmers and makers more than a decade later."

The children are wearing aprons from that first market! Their cookie stand will be open until 7:30 today in the Farmers Market located inside the Madison Square Center for the Arts, 2103 Main Street.
