What happens when 10 early-career soil scientists represent the Soil Science Society of America on the global stage?
Thanks to SSSA fellowships, a cohort of student researchers traveled to the World Congress of Soil Science in Nanjing, China. From presenting research on freeze-thaw cycles and microplastics to exploring global agrivoltaics and building cross-border post-doc connections, these young scientists returned with broader horizons and dynamic international partnerships.
This fellowship is funded through the Agronomic Science Foundation’s Sarah Lingle Priority Fund and integral to the future of our sciences.
