Thursday evening, the Amherst County School Administration and the School Board, awarded Neighbors Helping Neighbors, the 2026 VSBA Business Honor Roll Award. This award recognizes the support and partnership in our new program, NHN4KIDS. A program of this magnitude and commitment would not be possible, unless we had the involvement, donations and volunteers of this community/county. This award belongs to all of those individuals, churches, businesses, and other clubs and non-profits, who focus on the welfare of our County, especially our kids.

Our NHN4KIDS committee do the last weekend bags for the 2025-2026 school year. Nice to have a group of volunteers with their focus on making sure our County students have some weekend food to eat. They took on the challenge of a new process and location and got it done!! Can’t wait for the completion of our new room!!!
