Many of you saw the plea for this sweet girl Carmel being posted and shared and we had many pm's asking if we could help. Something about her made me want to know more so I reached out to our friend and one of our temp fosters who also happens to volunteer for the shelter if he had time to go meet her. Chuck made his way to the shelter this morning and was able to give me all the info and meet her and well, we said yes. Her owner has reached out and sadly her mom had to go into a nursing home and her daughter exhausted all her financial means to help get her into a nursing home and is now homeless. Chuck has sent video of her and Carmel sits next to the door and howls, see video in comments. This is sad for everyone. We've reached out to our pilot Don and he will be flying her on Sunday we will give her time to adjust before we get her into the vets so her bloodwork won't be compromised due to stress. Thank you all and we will update you soon on our new girl.

Someone, that someone happens to be Brooklyn, is a little miffed at me. Poor girl woke up with a little bit of a goopy eye so we had to give her some drops. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

First I need to apologize for not posting more actively on the page these last few weeks. I've had some medical issues myself that I will make a post about but at a later time. We've also been busy with a couple of the kids as they have been slowly transitioning. I do hope you all understand.
Sadly today we had to help our sweet Kirby, his kidneys had enough and he was ready for his next chapter. He was such an amazing boy and might I add probably the quietest of the bunch. He never made a peep but boy did his tail just wag. Kirby was special,he loved his brothers Shorty and Radar probably where there was one you'd for sure find the other. We love you Kirby, to the moon and back my love. 🌈♥️
