Burundi Hope Project

Burundi Hope Project The mission of the Burundi Hope Project is to love God, love people, share the Gospel and bring hope to the people of Burundi. Educate and Illuminate.

The mission of the Burundi Hope Project is to love God, love people, share the Gospel and bring hope to the people of Burundi. The desire of Burundi Hope is to come alongside all ministry partners and work to help spread the Gospel as well as meet the spiritual, physical, emotional and educational needs of people in Burundi. We have a broad base of ministry partners with a variety of interests who

desire help with the spreading of the Gospel and helping the people in Burundi. We make opportunities available to assist with the Lord’s work in Burundi. The Burundi Hope Project collaborates, supports and works alongside of the Community of Emmanuel Churches (CEEM) in Burundi. We respect the guidance and direction this ministry. Together we claim

Psalm 139:14

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Vision of Burundi Hope

The Burundi Hope Project has been deeply rooted in educational programs since its founding. These educational programs have not been limited to traditional classroom settings. The Lord has challenged the ministry in many ways and has guided it through these challenges. How will we fulfill the mission of the Burundi Hope Project. How will we love God, love people, share the Gospel and bring hope to the people of Burundi? These words were meant to help promote some new programs and projects of Burundi. Education simply means to teach, give information or train. Illuminate means enlighten spiritually or intellectually or supply with a bright light. We can teach them the word of God so they will know the light of Jesus. Giving them access to God’s word through the Bible will “illuminate” their lives the same way a lamp will light up a dark room. Psalm 119:105 tells us clearly that God’s word is a lamp unto our feet. These two words encompass the vison for Burundi Hope in 2018. Equipping the people with information, knowledge and skills applies to their spiritual life as well as their daily life. Through education we can illuminate their spiritual life. As we continue down this ministry path we will be sharing how many of you will be able to help us to “Educate and Illuminate” the people of Burundi.

Learn more about what is happening with Sewing centers in Burundi!

Time is a precious gift. It is greater than any tangible gift you can receive. Our world’s lifestyle is beyond busy. It has brought us to the place where communications get ignored, forgotten or deleted. Technology, with all its benefits, has contributed to the inability for people to have face to...

Students from Kanura School for the Blind visited a local hospital to pray with the mothers and children on the pediatric ward. They also brought gifts of beans, rice and soap. Several Sewing groups in the US make cloth bags that were used to "wrap" these special gifts. The students also shared their gift of music and song. It was a blessed day. Many thanks to the students, teachers and BHP team who helped coordinate this program!

The events of this day almost 2000 years ago were all but good from a human standpoint. The cruelty and anger easily swayed the crowd; much like a modern day riot. The goodness came in the finality of the cruelty when Jesus himself declared " It is finished." The cruelty ends. We received the precious gift we did not deserve of eternity with the Father. Praise God for those faithful women at the cross. Sticking to Jesus, closer than a brother. The third thread in the cord. Standing close while the disciples fled and Jesus was crucified. The cord was not broken but repaired on Resurrection Sunday. On this Good Friday remember the gift that was the result❤️. For God so loved the world...
