Thank You to everyone that came out for this years Memorial Day Parade a huge thank you goes out to the City of Madison Heights, and the Madison Heights Police Department, as we could not have done it without the help in planning and running the parade.

Dear Friend,

The City of Madison Heights and Parade Committee, are proud to invite you to participate in our annual Memorial Day Parade Saturday, May 27th at 10:00 A.M.

The Parade Committee (comprised of volunteers from the City and civic organizations) is dedicated to continuing to grow this community-wide event and involve as many volunteers and citizens as possible. To help us achieve this goal, we are inviting your organization to participate in the parade and encourage you to extend the invitation to other groups that you think may be interested

Please note that participants are asked to provide their own vehicles, floats, signs, etc. Feel free to contact
me to clarify any questions.
There is one change to our parade this year. Due to construction in the area we are unable to use the normal parade route. To be able to hold the 2023 Madison Heights Memorial Day Parade we have had to pick a temporary route that will start at Wilkinson Middle School and wind it way towards Madison Heigh School. At this time we are still in the process of planning the final route, we would encourage you to find us on Facebook to get the latest parade news. Thank you to our elected officials and their support of our heartfelt efforts to continue honoring our fallen heroes.

MADISON HEIGHTS — The Memorial Day parade will not take place this year in the city of Madison Heights, out of an abundance of caution over the pandemic. But there will still be a memorial service to pay respects to those who died serving in the military and those who continue to serve.

Attached please find the program for tomorrow's memorial service honoring those who made the supreme sacrifice in service to their country. Note the 91.5 FM broadcast will only work for those within the city hall area. A recording of the service will be shared at a later time. All are invited to this tribute at the City Hall Gazebo on Saturday, May 29 at 10 am.
