The MI Community Youth Art Competition is still accepting submissions—and the Arts Board would love to see our own local talent represented!
This is a fun opportunity for kids and teens to create artwork that celebrates what makes our community special, while also connecting with other young artists across Michigan.
If your kid or teen loves to draw, paint, or create, encourage them to join in!
MI Community is still accepting applications, and your community could be home to a winner!
If you are a local leader in one of the hundreds of Michigan Municipal League communities, consider hosting an event in your community where you provide the space and materials for young artists to create something special.
It’s a great opportunity to connect with your youngest residents and spark conversations about what makes your community unique.
And remember — more artists who participate from your community, the more chances you’ll have to vote for artwork that proudly represents where you live in the Community Pride Award!
