I have lived in Madison Heights for 32 years. Yesterday something absolutely amazing happen. When I stepped out of my house last night I could not believe the amount of people driving and walking throughout the neighborhood backyards, parking lots etc. to help find Johnathan. With the helicopters, drones, tow-trucks, police and security vehicles the entire neighborhood was lit up. You could hear people constantly calling out to Johnathan in the distance. When I was out looking behind businesses I could hear in the distance a John Denver song and later I found out it was one of his favorites. As it got closer, I notice a vehicle had a mounted a speaker on the roof trying to get Johnathan attention. I started getting a little emotional when I realized the song was take me home/country road and I could see around me the amount of community support he was getting. My daughter is autistic and non verbal. I couldn't imagine being in these parents shoes. I want to thank everyone for their support. Our community is unlike anything I have seen in my life and I am proud to be part of it.
