We wanted to share a story with all of you about blessings and hope
As many of you know this weekend, we had a big sale and we did this for two reasons. One: donations have slowed and we still had people without air and two:. We have a new shipment coming in soon.
We are going to have the one dollar sale again this weekend Saturday from 10 AM till 2 PM and we have added a lot of new stuff to the racks so don’t miss out on this sale.
Saturday we had a lot of people come in and some of them were people that have been here before and some of them were people that just discovered the resale shop.
We got to tell them what we have, why we keep the prices so everyone can afford nice things, and what their purchases support
We often say that those who have the least always give the most because they understand what it’s like to be without needed items.
We had an elderly lady walk in, and I won’t mention her name and she had one dollar to her name until the third of the month.
She said she didn’t have much but she had what she needed to survive until she got her check.
She did not purchase any items but she donated that one dollar to make sure other people needing a hand up received help.
Now, if you know me and my team, we tried to give that back to her, and then some, and she refused to take it.
There are so many of us in this world that are blessed and could make a difference, and if everyone that saw our page and our post just donated, that one dollar there would be no one in Marshall County without air, Food, hygiene items, and more.
So this Saturday, we asked that everyone search their hearts and find that one dollar or more and stop by the shop and make a difference.
If you can’t make it to the shop, we have numerous ways you can make a donation to support our mission.
