🌊One more day on the lake to close out an amazing summer!

Our second water skiing clinic brought another beautiful day at the lake with our Adaptive Sports athletes and families. From big smiles and exciting rides to relaxing by the water together, it was the perfect way to wrap up a summer full of adventure. ☀️

Days like this are made possible by an incredible community. Thank you to our volunteers, families, lake hosts, and everyone who shared their time and resources to help make our water skiing season such a memorable one.

As summer break comes to an end, we’re wishing all of our athletes a fun, successful, and exciting school year! 📚✏️ Keep learning, growing, and showing everyone what you can do. 💪

And don’t worry, the fun isn’t over! We have even more Adaptive Sports opportunities coming this fall, and we can’t wait to see you there. 🩵

✨BASKETBALL IS BACK!✨

We kicked off our basketball season Saturday with our first wheelchair basketball clinic! It was great seeing new faces alongside players from our Fresno Wheelers competitive team, all sharing the court and getting some work in.

A huge thank you to our coaches who continue to volunteer their time, knowledge, and energy to make this program what it is. 🩵

We’re excited for what’s ahead as we prepare for the 2026–2027 NWBA season. Follow along for updates and our Road to Nationals! 🏀🔥

Just casually adding “rock climber” to the résumé. 😂🧗‍♀️

Some moments are bigger than reaching the top. ✨🧗

For many of our athletes, this was their very first time rock climbing. For some families, it was an experience they never imagined would be possible.

And then they climbed. 🥹

That’s what makes days like this so special. Our mission is to create opportunities, remove barriers, and give our athletes the chance to try something new, challenge themselves, and experience moments that once may have felt out of reach.

Because “I don’t know if I can” can turn into “I did it.”

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who helped make every climb possible, celebrated every victory, and cheered our athletes on every step of the way.

This is what makes us happy. 🩵

Last night, we kicked off our rock climbing season with Volunteer Night at MetalMark Climbing & Fitness! 🧗‍♀️

A huge THANK YOU to Danny and the amazing MetalMark Climbing+Fitness staff for taking the time to train our volunteers on belaying, adaptive climbing equipment, and the different ways we can help give each of our athletes the opportunity to get on the wall.

We’re so grateful for their patience, commitment to safety, and continued partnership with our Adaptive Sports Program. And a big thank you to our volunteers who showed up ready to learn and help make this season possible!

We’re looking forward to a fun season ahead! 💪

Interested in volunteering? There’s still time to join us! Send us a DM or email [email protected].

✈️ Taking Adaptive Sports to new heights!

Our athletes had an unforgettable day with Young Eagles at Sierra Sky Park Airport, taking to the skies and experiencing the excitement of flight! 💙

After their flights, each athlete earned their very own Adaptive Sports pilot wings, with even more fun in the hangar with a flight simulator, arts and crafts, and plenty of smiles.

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this that give our athletes the chance to try something new, make memories, and experience something truly special. ✈️💙
