Madera County Workforce was excited to attend the grand opening of PROSPERO in Merced, California, celebrating the transformation of the former WorkNet Merced County into a refreshed workforce development center focused on employment, training, skills development, and career opportunities.

It was great to join our regional workforce partners in celebrating their continued investment in strengthening the workforce and supporting communities throughout the Central Valley.

Madera County Workforce was proud to attend the Grand Opening & Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the new VA ATLAS site in Chowchilla! 🇺🇸

This new location will help connect local Veterans with convenient access to VA telehealth services and resources closer to home. We’re excited to see services like these expand in Madera County and strengthen support for the Veterans in our community.

As another successful Summer Youth Program comes to a close, we were honored to celebrate our participants and employer partners at our end-of-program luncheon.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible employers: George's Auto Supply, Grocery Outlet, Madera Cemetery District, Community Action Partnership of Madera County (CAPMC), and the Madera County Library for investing in the next generation by providing meaningful work experience, mentorship, and valuable career skills.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Madera County Superintendent of Schools and Madera Unified School District for making this program possible. Your sponsorship continues to create opportunities that empower local youth and strengthen our community.
